Kalyan Varma is a wildlife photographer, filmmaker, and explorer dedicated to documenting nature and environmental issues His work brings the wonders of the wild to a global audience. For over a decade, Kalyan has collaborated on landmark wildlife series for BBC and Nat Geo, capturing nature’s most breathtaking moments. He co-founded India Nature Watch, Asia’s largest wildlife photography community, and Nature InFocus, the continent’s biggest nature photography festival.
Kalyan also won the 67th National Film Award for his documentary Wild Karnataka in 2021. Beyond the lens, he’s passionate about sharing knowledge, conducting workshops, and inspiring the next generation of wildlife storytellers.
